Pharmacy Student

Pharmacy Student Registration

Any individual who wishes to practice as a pharmacy student in Newfoundland and Labrador must register with the College of Pharmacy of Newfoundland and Labrador. Registration as a pharmacy student allows the student to perform tasks within the scope of practice of a pharmacist but only under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Practice experience placements in Newfoundland and Labrador may only be completed by pharmacy students registered with the College.

Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy requires that all first-year pharmacy students register with the College and maintain their registration throughout the length of the pharmacy program.

Eligibility

Must be enrolled in a Faculty of Pharmacy accredited by the Canadian Council for the Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), or another accreditation body approved by the College.
